As you probably know, a while back I decided to start writing an e-fiction series directly to my blog. Since then this project has taken on a life of its own. What I had expected to be a relaxing writing diversion, has grown up to be a three-book young adult fantasy-adventure series — the first book of which (Chieftain’s Daughter) is now complete and undergoing its final revisions before I start in on book two.
With that in mind, I’m removing these episodes for a time while I finish up the revisions, but you can expect to find a teaser chapter, as well as some other goodies, appearing on this page shortly. There is still more work to be done before the time is right to send the first book for publication, but once there I will also post the link to it here for anyone interested.
So please keep your eyes peeled for the next update on Amara’s story!
This page holds of some my favourites pieces from my portfolio. Many more have been written over the years but these few, I think, have that special something which sets them apart from the rest.
Due to poetry submission rules on Amazon KDP, I’ve had to remove some of my poems which were previously published on this page. Don’t worry though you can still find them all in volume one; ‘Solitary Secret Paths,’ volume two; ‘Inky Imaginings,’ and the combined volume of my poetry ‘In the Light of Day,’ which are currently for sale on Amazon in both paperback and e-book format (eBook format for ‘In the Light of Day’ to be published shortly).
This page contains a few of my short stories (1,000 – 10,000 words long) which don’t currently have anywhere else to live. Some expand upon the backstories and adventures of the wonderful collection of side characters, who find themselves intrinsically linked to my full, novel-length works along the way. Others are the inspiration of chance meetings, random conversations or half remembered dreams. They span all sorts of genres, so hopefully there is something for everyone on this page.
